Build LED Art, a Deaf & Hearing Inclusive Education Workshop
CymaSpace will be partnering with Portland Mini Maker Faire & AffectConf to host a “BUILD LED ART” workshop the weekend of Sep 16-17 9:30am to 3pm. Volunteers will help to solder LEDs, program with Arduino and fabricate a modular, community created LED Art Installation in a Deaf & Hearing friendly environment. ASL Interpreters will be provided.
This workshop is included with the cost of general admission to Portland Mini Maker Faire which is $16 for Adults and $10 for youth.
Location: OMSI (1945 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214)
Our workshop will be held in the main OMSI building, in the North hallway leading to the Planetarium.
Needed: We are in need of soldering iron stations, solder, wire strippers, heat guns and heat shrink! Can we borrow yours?
