Myles de Bastion presents: BATTERY POWERED INSTRUMENTS JAM SESSION
A CymaSpace Community Gathering
Hosted by Myles de Bastion, founder and artistic director of CymaSpace. We are launching this monthly jam session at Woodstock Café, the community venue our nonprofit operates for accessible arts. Through grants we write and partnerships Myles develop as board president, we’re able to keep programs like this accessible.
Bring your battery-powered synths, grooveboxes, drum machines, or whatever sonic contraption you’ve been building. We’ll connect through a shared mixer for 90 minutes of collaborative sound exploration.
- When: First Wednesday of the month at noon (90 minutes + teardown)
- Cost: Sliding scale $10
- Free: CymaSpace Patreon members
- Perk: Patreon members bring one friend free (first visit)
- Bonus: $1 off café drinks for all attendees
What to bring: Your battery-powered instrument + headphones. We provide the mixer and sometimes haptic devices.
Woodstock Café is owned and operated by CymaSpace as a 501(c)3 non-profit.
